The Ozzy exhibition was amazing!

(26th Jan 2026)

This January, my son was determined to visit the Ozzy Osbourne exhibition at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery before it finished — although, judging by how popular it’s been, I think it’s now been extended until September 2026 (because of course it has… Ozzy refuses to leave the building!).

We had an amazing time. It was surprisingly emotional, really — celebrating the life of someone who has made such a huge impact locally, nationally, and internationally. Ozzy isn’t just the legendary voice of Black Sabbath… he’s also quirky, hilarious, and completely iconic.

The exhibition was busy, to say the least — but thankfully there was still plenty of space to wander around at a relaxed pace. We stopped to admire photographs, awards, platinum albums lining the walls, and all sorts of fascinating facts about both the band and Ozzy himself.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I spotted a cast of Ozzy’s middle finger sitting proudly in one of the display stands. Honestly, it felt like the most perfect tribute. That’s what I’ve always loved about Ozzy — he truly didn’t care what anyone thought… and honestly, isn’t that how life should be?
